We provide a complimentary camel ride inside the camp during morning hours for all house guests. Enjoy the unique experience of riding this animal that many people say is more intelligent than the horse. Its idiosyncratic chewing, braying and expressions are sure to bring a smile to your face. When mounted, you will sit higher on the camel than on a horse, and the swaying of its hips is more pronounced. Hanging on while the camel gets up with kneels back down is an art that the camp instructors will teach you. Even if you have never ridden an animal before, it is easy to learn to ride a camel, under the safety and supervision of our young Bedouin guides. If you develop a taste for riding camels, you can request a longer camel safari and watch the desert sunset from the top of a high dune.
